Returns and Refunds Policy

Thank you for shopping at Calmcornershop.com. We strive to provide you with high-quality products and excellent customer service. If you need to return an item, please review our returns and refunds policy below.

1. Refund Policy

If you are eligible for a refund, we will process it back to the original method of payment you used for the order. The refund amount will be equal to the total amount paid for the specific order, or a partial refund depending on the nature of the issue. Please note that any changes to your PayPal email address must be communicated to us. Refunds may take up to 10 working days to process.

2. Warranty

All products come with a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty period from the date of delivery, unless otherwise stated (excluding consumables). This warranty does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Please note that the warranty does not cover defects arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, accidents, negligence by you or any third party, or use other than in accordance with the product’s intended purpose. Consumable items, such as batteries, are covered for physical defects according to the terms mentioned above. However, consumable items are not eligible for replacement during normal use.

2.1 Faulty Item(s)

If you receive goods that are faulty or incomplete upon arrival, please notify us in writing (via post, email, or our Contact Us page on the website) within 72 hours of receiving the item.

To initiate a return, please follow our Returns Procedure (see condition 3 below). Once we receive the returned product and verify the fault, we will replace the item within 5 working days at no additional cost to you. If a replacement is not possible due to product discontinuation, we will offer a substitute alternative or provide a full refund for the faulty item. Reasonable carriage costs incurred for the return will be reimbursed.

For items valued over £15 (sale price before VAT), please contact us via email at [email protected], describing the type and extent of the fault. We will guide you on the next steps to proceed.

Please refrain from placing duplicate orders to replace damaged or faulty goods, as it will not expedite the replacement process.

2.2 Item(s) Damaged on Arrival

In the unlikely event that you receive a damaged product, please notify us in writing (via email at [email protected] or through the Contact Us page on the website) within 48 hours of receiving the goods.

For items valued over £15 (sale price before VAT), please contact us via email at [email protected], describing the type and extent of the damage. We will guide you on the next steps to proceed.

To initiate a return, please follow our Returns Procedure (see condition 3 below). Once we receive the returned goods at our Dispatch Depot, we will examine them for damage. If the damage is verified, we will replace the item within 3 working days at no additional cost to you. Reasonable carriage charges incurred for the return will be reimbursed.

Please refrain from placing duplicate orders to replace damaged items, as it will not expedite the replacement process.

2.3 Wrong Item(s) Delivered

If we mistakenly supply you with an incorrect item, please notify us within 30 days. If your customer wishes to return the item for a replacement, it must be in line with our Returns Procedure (see condition 3 below). Depending on the value of the item, the customer may keep the incorrect item if they are satisfied with it, and any refund for a difference

 in value will be issued. Conversely, if the item is of higher value than the original item paid for, a PayPal request will be sent for the difference.

2.4 If the projected reasonable carriage costs for returning an item exceed its value (original sale price listed on the Calmcornershop.com website & data feeds), we will request photographic evidence to prove that the item is incorrect. In such cases, the end customer is free to dispose of the incorrect item in the most convenient manner.

To initiate a return, please follow our Returns Procedure (see condition 3 below). Once we receive the incorrect items at our Dispatch Depot or receive proof of postage, we will ship the correct items within 2 working days. Reasonable carriage charges incurred for the return will be reimbursed.

2.5 Item(s) Not Required

If you wish to return an unwanted item, please notify us in writing (via post, email, or our Contact Us page on the website) within 30 days of receiving the item. A refund will be credited back to your original method of payment for the item within 30 days of notifying Calmcornershop.com of the cancellation, provided that we receive the item back.

To initiate a return, please follow our Returns Procedure (see condition 3 below). The item should be returned to us within 28 days of notifying us, at your own cost, and in its original packaging and “as new” condition.

Please note that this condition does not apply to perishable items (items supplied with a printed Use By date) unless previously agreed upon in writing with Calmcornershop.com.

2.6 Extra Item(s) Delivered

If we mistakenly supply you with extra items, please notify us immediately in writing (via email or the Contact Us page on the website). The item(s) should be returned to us following our Returns Procedure (see condition 3 below). Once we receive the returned goods at our Dispatch Depot, reasonable carriage charges incurred for the return will be reimbursed.

Failure to inform us of receipt of extra items, and being found in possession of goods that you have not paid for, will result in full charges for the goods.

2.7 Non-Delivery of Item(s)

We consider an order as non-delivered if it has not arrived within 2 weeks. You have 21 days from the payment date to notify us of any missing, damaged, or faulty items. Orders exceeding this time period will not be eligible for a refund or replacement. Please contact Calmcornershop.com via email at [email protected] or through the ‘contact us’ form on the website. Provide us with the original order number as a reference.

We will investigate the non-delivery with the relevant delivery service provider and offer a replacement order or a full refund for the undelivered goods within the required 21 days.

3. Returns Procedure

3.1 All returns are eligible for 30 days and must be delivered to the designated delivery depot within 30 days. We reserve the right to charge you for any costs incurred in retrieving the goods. In the case of a damaged item, please contact us in writing first to determine if a return is necessary. Whenever possible, we request photographic evidence of damages (excluding silver jewellery) before authorising a return.

3.2 Items should be returned in their original packaging and in “as new” condition to the following Dispatch Depot address:

3.3 Before returning any items, please inform Calmcornershop.com of the reason for the return. Please include your original order number on all returns and correspondence.

3.4 If an item returned to Calmcornershop.com does not meet the above conditions or is not as described, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item or deduct a percentage of the original selling price from the refund amount.

4. Cancellation Rights

If you wish to cancel an order before it has been dispatched, please notify us immediately in writing (via email or the Contact Us page on the website). If your order has already been dispatched, please follow our Returns Procedure (see condition 3 above) for returning the item(s) and obtaining a refund.
